Stone lettering
What is carved in stone remains. That is why I carve every letter by hand, with a chisel.
Lettering on memorials has a special meaning for me, as I do all the work by hand with a chisel. Each inscription bears the mark of its maker and has a character of its own.
Alongside names and dates on memorials, I also carve verses and dedications on stone books, plaques and gifts, given as lasting keepsakes.
You can also carve your own initial in stone at my stonemasonry workshop.
How to order an inscription
- 1 Send me the text of the inscription and a photograph of the stone or memorial.
- 2 We’ll agree on the style and size of the lettering.
- 3 I carve the letters into the stone by hand.
