Memorial restoration and renovation
Sometimes we don’t need new pieces; we can restore the beauty of old ones.
A memorial is a place of remembrance, so I restore it with care and respect. I tidy it up and restore the stone’s natural lustre by grinding and polishing it. If you wish, we can also find a new look for the memorial together.
Much of my work centres around 1. novembrom, when we remember loved ones who are no longer with us. Before the holiday, most of my work is on site: lettering and tending to memorials.
Restoration and a new look
A memorial that had been badly weathered was given a new lease of life. The customer and I chose a new design, as she didn’t like the previous one.
Grinding and polishing the marble edging restored the stone’s natural lustre.
How we approach the restoration
- 1 Send me a photograph of the memorial and tell me what you would like done.
- 2 We’ll agree on what the memorial needs: repairs, grinding and polishing, a new inscription or a new look.
- 3 I carry out the work on site, at the cemetery.
